2024 Jamboree Season Opener

Our annual West Seattle Little League Opening Weekend Jamboree is scheduled for March 23rd & 24th. With over 800 players and 68 teams participating, this will be one for the books! The Jamboree allows all our teams to play at Bar-S and enjoy special Jamboree festivities. We will have concessions and entertainment, with the DubSea Fish Sticks mascot Fin Crispy Jr., joining in for the fun.

Games
Opening weekend schedules are final and posted. If you haven’t already, we encourage downloading the GameChanger app to streamline team communications and keep track of practices/games. All teams will play 45-60min Jamboree games. To allow all teams to play on the Bar-S fields, there is only a 15-minute break between games. We ask that players and volunteers help to quickly exit the fields and dugout so that the next game can stay on schedule.

Jamboree Volunteers Needed
This event will need the entire league community's support—setup and tear-down, field maintenance between games, and more. Be ready to help—we are going to need it. Sign up to volunteer.

Bar-S Field Prep
Thank you to those who attended the Bar-S work party last weekend. The fields look good, but we have more work to do to prepare Bar-S for the Jamboree. This week, we need volunteers to help weed outside the fence, bleacher area, and snack shack perimeter. These areas can be worked on at any time of day and require no additional instructions (bring your own tools).

Hit-it-Here at Bar-S
At the Jamboree and throughout the season, if someone from your team Hits it Over they get a free hot dog for the team (sponsored by the Rain City Fence) or if someone from your team hits the Hit-it-here banner at Bar-S (sponsored by Go Time Athletics) on a fly (not a bounce) in a game, your entire team will be entitled to a free hot dog from the Snack Shack after your game. Your coach or team parent will notify the Snack Shack.

Mascot Extravaganza
Our friends from the DubSea Fish Sticks will stop by to cheer on the players. Fin Crispy Jr. will be there on Saturday and Sunday.

Concessions and Swag
The Bar-S Snack Shack will be open! We’ll be selling WSLL hats. Limited quantities are available, $25 each.

Help us Stock the Shack! Donate packaged food, drinks, or supplies to support the Bar-S Snack Shack! Your generous donations help offset overhead costs, maintaining the Snack Shack as the ultimate destination for gameday treats. By doing so, you play a crucial role in sustaining our league's financial health, addressing expenses ranging from field renovations to uniforms, scholarships, and more. Bar-S Parking
Parking at Bar-S is challenging for this event, so we highly encourage carpooling. If you need to park in the surrounding neighborhoods, please be respectful to our Bar-S neighbors and do not block or enter driveways or park in no-parking zones.
