Our annual West Seattle Little League Opening Weekend Jamboree is scheduled for the weekend of March 22nd & 23rd. With over 830 players and 63 teams participating, this will be one for the books! The Jamboree allows all our teams to play at Bar-S and enjoy special Jamboree festivities. We will have two full days of games, concessions, and good times!
Games
Opening weekend schedules are final and posted on your team’s GameChanger and online (select “2025 Jamboree Games” in the Schedule drop down). If you haven’t already, we encourage downloading the GameChanger app to streamline team communications and keep track of practices/games. All teams will play 45-60min Jamboree games. To allow all teams to play on the Bar-S fields, there is only a 15-minute break between games. We ask that players and volunteers help to quickly exit the fields and dugout so that the next game can stay on schedule.
Bar-S Parking
Parking at Bar-S is challenging for this event, so we highly encourage carpooling. If you need to park in the surrounding neighborhoods, please be respectful to our Bar-S neighbors and do not block or enter driveways or park in no-parking zones.
Mascot Fun
Our friends from the DubSea Fish Sticks will join us at the Jamboree to celebrate our season kick-off weekend! Be sure to stop by their booth to learn about their upcoming season and be on the lookout for Fin Crispy Jr. on Saturday!
Jamboree Volunteers Needed
This event will need the entire league community's support, including: setup, announcing, photographing, field maintenance between games, and more. Please sign up to volunteer, we are going to need it!
What is Bar-S without the Snack Shack?! This jamboree weekend is the perfect opportunity for parent volunteers to practice and get ready to lend a hand for the season. Sign up for a Snack Shack shift! You will need a valid food handler permit in order to volunteer. Learn more about being a parent volunteer in the Bar-S Snack Shack this season. Bar-S Field Prep
Thank you to those who answered our many calls for volunteers to help with field prep. The fields look good, but we have more work to do to prepare Bar-S for the Jamboree. This week, we need volunteers to help weed outside the fence, bleacher area, and snack shack perimeter. These areas can be worked on at any time of day and require no additional instructions (bring your own tools). If you have time this week and want to help with on-field work, please email [email protected], and we will coordinate schedules.
50/50 Raffle
Step up to the plate and make a difference! By participating in our 50/50 raffle, you’re not only swinging for a chance to win 50% of the pot, but you’re also helping our league knock it out of the park. The other half of the proceeds will support essential projects like field maintenance, renovations, a water bottle filling station, and—our ultimate dream—lights!

Hit-it-Here at Bar-S
At the Jamboree and throughout the season, if a player hits the Hit-it-here banner at Bar-S (sponsored by Go Time Athletics) on a fly (not a bounce) in a game, the entire team will be entitled to a free hot dog from the Snack Shack after your game.
