League Age 4-7

Players League Age 4–7 may register for any Little League they wish. At these ages, league boundaries do not apply, and no proof of eligibility documentation is required during registration. 

League Age 8-16

For players League Age 8+, Little League International requires that eligibility be based on one of the following:

- School enrollment: the player attends an elementary or middle school physically located inside the WSLL boundary. This is the preferred method!

- Home address: the player lives inside the WSLL boundary

- Uninterrupted participation (only applies to baseball players born on or after September 1, 2017 and softball players born on or after January 1, 2017): once a League Age 4-7 player registers, they will remain fully eligible to continue playing in West Seattle Little League, including All-Stars/International Tournament play, as long as they continue playing in WSLL every season without interruption and meet all other participation requirements.

Sibling Exception (2025 Rule)

There is one special exception to these boundary rules:

If a family lives outside the WSLL boundary and has a younger sibling who is League Age 7 or under that is registered to play in WSLL, then an older sibling (League Age 8–16) is also allowed to register with WSLL. This rule allows families to keep siblings together in the same league.

In order to establish player eligibility, all registrants League Age 8+ will need to upload either a school enrollment form (preferred) OR proof of home address documentation (3+ documents) to verify that the player lives or attends school within the WSLL boundary. Only one method is required, not both. 

Player eligibility documents are not saved from the previous season, so verification is required each year.

If you go to an elementary or middle school listed below, please follow the registration guidelines and upload a completed school enrollment form during registration. This is the easiest way to establish your eligibility and the preferred method for WSLL.

School Enrollment Verification is Best!

• Contact your school's office manager to sign your completed school enrollment form. 
• DO NOT PRESENT OR SEND A BLANK FORM TO THE OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR.

As part of registration, players League Age 8+ will be asked to prove Little League Residence eligibility. Upload at least three documents as proof of home address of the player's parent or guardian:

• At least one document from each of the THREE GROUPS as outlined by Little League International (ex: Driver's License, Property Tax Bill, and Utility Bill)
• Documents must be dated between Feb 1 of the previous year and Feb 1st of the current year to qualify, and dates must be visible. 
• The address on the supporting documentation MUST match the player's home address provided during registration. 
• Documents are not saved from the previous season, so verification is required each year.
