Q: What are All-Stars?
A: Each year, WSLL selects All-Star teams to compete in summer tournaments that advance from district to state and potentially to regional and national levels. All-Stars is a competitive program, with teams built to represent WSLL at a high level of play.

Q: Who is eligible?
A: Players must opt in by the deadline of May 11th to be considered for All-Stars and meet Little League eligibility requirements. This includes playing at least 8 regular season games, and living or attending school within league boundaries and are league age 8-12.

Q: How many teams are planned?
A: WSLL plans to create the following All-Star teams this year - baseball: 10U, 11U, and 12U; and softball: 10U, 11U, 12U, and Juniors.

Q: How are players selected?
A: All-Star managers and coaches select a competitive team through a voting process involving players, coaches, and managers. Selections are based on character, leadership, and on-field performance, and only players who opt in by the deadline are eligible.

Q: What are the time commitments?
A: All-Star participation involves a strong time commitment. typically 5-7 days per week with practices, games, and occasional travel from June through July (and possibly August). Players are encouraged to attend all events to support team development, so families should plan for consistent availability during this period.

Q: If our family already has vacation planned during June-July, how would that affect eligibility?
A: Players must be available for practices, team activities, and games from June through July (and possibly August for 12s) to be considered for All-Stars. Families with scheduling conflicts during this period should not opt in.

Q: How can my player opt-in?
A: WSLL will email families a Google Form to Opt-in on May 5th. Keep an eye out for that.

Q: How can I learn more?
A: Join in on our virtual info session on Tuesday, May 5th at 7:30-8:30pm (link below).
