WSLL General Meeting & Nominations to Board of Directors:

The main purpose of the General Meeting is to elect the 2022 WSLL Board.  All General Members of WSLL are eligible to vote. 

General Member is anyone that served during the 2021 season as one of the following:  Board Member, Manager, Coach, Umpire or Team Parent.

If you did not serve in one of these roles, anyone can become a General Member by paying $1. Venmo or PayPal information will be made available at the meeting. 
At least 20% of the General Members must vote for the 2022 board to be valid.   

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Little League has authorized local leagues to hold their annual election remotely.

For the expressed purposes of electing a Board of Directors for the upcoming season, we will hold nominations and submit ballots electronically in the following time frame.  West Seattle Little League will be using Google Forms to collect nominations and election results.

September 8, 2021 - Notice of Meeting:  Notice including nomination information is sent to members opening nominations to the Board of Directors.

September 15, 2021 – Nomination Deadline:  Nominations to the Board of Directors are closed.

September 17, 2020 – Election Ballot:  Email is sent to members with a link to the electronic ballot.

Most of the 2022 board positions have candidates, however we are still looking for a Rookies Player Agent.  We are also looking for someone willing to step up and take on the Snack Shack in 2023. They will use this year to learn from the current director.  You can learn more about these positions by visiting the WSLL Volunteer Webpage. 

Additionally, if you would like to become a candidate for any position on the WSLL board and you have not already submitted your name for consideration, please click on the link below or reply to this email with your name and the board position that you would like to seek in 2022.
