Scorekeeping
Who Are the Scorekeepers?
West Seattle Little League Scorekeepers are all volunteer parents who dedicate their time and efforts to keeping track of team statistics. Each team needs
at least one parent to volunteer to be the team's scorekeeper.
At the beginning of each season, West Seattle Little League provides scorekeeper training clinics. WSLL encourages parents to volunteer for scorekeeping
to begin learning how to keep score, how to track pitch count, on-base
percentages, hits, walks, and errors. As scorekeepers move up a division with
their child, more advanced scorekeeping training is offered. Help set a positive example - become a scorekeeper for your child's team!
Reporting Your Scores:
A new form has been developed this year to
track scores. It is the responsibility
of the HOME scorekeeper to fill out and turn this form into the snack
shack after each game. The forms are then reviewed
and the results will be placed on the standings and scores pages for
each division on this web site.
