"District
7 Wins Big League State Championship"
Comprised of players from WSLL, SWLL, Pacwest, and SHALL, the combined
Big League team from District 7 won the State Championship last month
hosted by District 6 in Vancouver, WA.
CONGRATULATIONS, players and coaches!
Welcome to WSLL!
Registration for next season
will begin in January 2009.
West Seattle Little League teams play most games, T-Ball through Majors, at
Bar-S Fields . T-Ball and Coach Pitch teams will play some games at
Alki Playfield. Juniors, Seniors, and Big League teams travel throughout the district.
All players are guaranteed playing time in every game. We encourage and request parent participation and
volunteers to help with coaching,
umpiring, scorekeeping, field maintenance, and
snack shack shifts.
The regular season runs from the beginning of April (Majors, Minors, Coach Pitch, and T-Ball) through mid-June, with practices beginning in early March. Our season ends with a League Tournament for Minors and Majors divisions.
In addition, for qualified players, our
All-Star teams start at the end of June. Players can also choose to take part in a district-sponsored Wooden Bat Tournament at the end of July, and a district-wide
Fall Ball (skills camp) program in September.-->
 WSLL Goals & Objectives
West Seattle Little League's Volunteers are committed to continuing work towards developing a baseball program that our community can be proud of. Little League Baseball is a tremendous learning experience for our youth, not just for the teaching of the sport but also for the lessons learned through teamwork, dedication and pride.
We are also committed to the following objectives: improvement and upkeep of the Bar-S Playfields, developing and maintaining a group of managers, coaches and umpires who will work to provide the youth of West Seattle Little League a positive experience on the ball field.
